Our cross country team finished a fantastic season at state today. It was cold with snow and ice on the course but the team was up for the challenge! Brad Kinzler came in 15th and made all-state. Congratulations Rebels! Congratulations Brad! Way to go!!
In the District 5 tournament, our Lady Rebels won an exciting game tonight against Carrington. They will play for the championship on Monday night!!
Student Role Model of the Week for October 23-27 was Tucker Hahne. Tucker was chosen for being respectful, having a great work ethic, and getting along well with others.
Student Role Model of the Week for October 16-20 was Jaden Rascon. Jaden was chosen for being prepared for class, participating in discussions, having a great sense of humor, and being a positive leader.

Due to a scheduling conflict we have moved picture retake day to Thursday, November 16th at around 12:30
KPS is joining schools, preschools, nonprofits, and local food enthusiasts in celebrating Farm to School Month by competing in a nine-State Crunch Off competition! North Dakota is competing against Colorado, Montana, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming to determine who will be crowned the Mountain Plains Region Crunch Champion through having the most crunches into local apples or produce per capita.
Our “Crunch Off” will take place on October 31st. We are inviting students, staff or community members to bring in locally grown apples for us to “crunch”. Apples can be dropped off at the school office. If you know what variety of apple you are donating, please include a note with that information. Thanks so much!
