Due to a scheduling conflict we have moved picture retake day to Thursday, November 16th at around 12:30
KPS is joining schools, preschools, nonprofits, and local food enthusiasts in celebrating Farm to School Month by competing in a nine-State Crunch Off competition! North Dakota is competing against Colorado, Montana, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming to determine who will be crowned the Mountain Plains Region Crunch Champion through having the most crunches into local apples or produce per capita.
Our “Crunch Off” will take place on October 31st. We are inviting students, staff or community members to bring in locally grown apples for us to “crunch”. Apples can be dropped off at the school office. If you know what variety of apple you are donating, please include a note with that information. Thanks so much!
Join us for a Fun Free Fall Family Festival coming up next week :)! Warm up with a bowl of chili and see our costumed community before trick-or-treating starts for the night. Everyone is welcome from 5:30-7pm!
Congratulations to the cross country runners today at regionals in Cooperstown! The state meet will be in Jamestown on October 27th.

3rd Graders have been exploring balanced and unbalanced forces and pushes and pulls in science! They engineered paper bridge structures and had to test its strength by seeing how many coins it would hold! The most we had was 183 coins!
