The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 enabled public schools across the nation to provide all students free meals since the COVID-19 pandemic first disrupted K-12 education in March of 2020. The free school meal benefits expired after the last school day of the 2021-2022 school year. This means meals will return to paid-for status for the 22-23 school year. Families will need to pay full price for student meals or fill out an application to qualify for free or reduced-price meals.
An application was included in the Back-to-School packets that were recently mailed. You can also use this link to download and print an application: Free and Reduced Meal Application and Instructions
